About the event
Mark your calendar for Friday, October 9, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the State Evacuation Site located on Highway 71 South adjacent to LSUA. Lunch will be served at 11:00 a.m.
This exciting community event will feature live music, health providers, community resources, and door prizes designed especially for senior citizens. It is a great opportunity to connect with local services, enjoy fellowship, and have a fun, informative morning.
Complimentary tickets will be available for senior citizens age 60 and older beginning September 7 at all Rapides Senior Citizens’ Centers locations.
