The Rapides Parish Senior Citizens Center proudly hosted another wonderful Senior Citizen Day Celebration at beautiful Buhlow Lake — a day filled with fellowship, laughter, and unforgettable memories for seniors from across Central Louisiana.

Guests enjoyed a full day of fun, games, fishing, music, delicious food, health booths, giveaways, and live entertainment in a joyful outdoor atmosphere designed especially to celebrate and honor our senior community. From friendly competitions and dancing to relaxing by the lake with friends, there was truly something for everyone to enjoy.

The event also featured helpful community resources and wellness information from local health organizations and vendors committed to supporting the well-being of our senior citizens. The smiles, fellowship, and excitement shared throughout the day reminded everyone of the importance of staying active, connected, and engaged in the community.

The Rapides Parish Senior Citizens Center extends heartfelt thanks to all volunteers, sponsors, vendors, entertainers, and participants who helped make this year’s event such a tremendous success. We look forward to continuing this cherished tradition for many years to come!
